“My, My, My”

I can’t comment on my Court action against Toronto immigration lawyer Ahmed Hussen who is still practicing as Canada’s Immigration Minister.

But I can read yesterday’s Toronto Sun newspaper article which petty much calls Ahmed a liar.

Clowns, Fear & Division

None of my neighbors appreciate manipulative jokers from Alberta or Quebec fueling fear and division in Toronto.

The clowns see our fear and division as their “wedge” opportunity.

  • First we had Jason Kenney using Chris Alexander to pit “old stock ‘against those not born here.

  • Now we have Justin Trudeau using Ahmed Hussen to pit immigrants against refugees.

Toronto reacted by giving the boot to Kenney & Co. The same will happen with Trudeau & Co.

What outsiders don’t realize is that Toronto runs on three principles: Make money, take care of your family and respect your neighbor.

Every Toronto business, family and neighborhood is a blend of old stock, new folks, immigrants and refugees. If you want to make money, maintain family peace and live well with your neighbor then there is no room in Toronto for tribal fear and division.

Clowns create friction. Friction does not encourage money, family peace or tranquil neighborhoods. Torontonians simply have no time or stomach for inflammatory immigration-refugee lectures from outsiders … be they “Pure Laine” aristocrats from Quebec or drive by bigots from Alberta.

In Toronto, we are practical people. We do not waste time on pagliacci who threaten business, family and neighborhood. This is why the GTA has at least 500,000 undocumented folks. They stay. They are part of business, family and neighborhood.

As for the pagliacci from Alberta and Quebec … arrivederci.

Fear & Division

The Prime Minister says that he wants an immigration process free of fear and division. Agreed

All politicians say Canada has world class immigration laws. Agreed

If the laws were followed then we would not have illegal workers and illegal children. Agreed

So why:

  • Do we have 1 million illegal workers and 150,000 illegal children?

  • Why are 1 million illegal workers and probably 150,000 illegal children living in fear and division?

  • Why are there so many successful scams bringing in more illegal workers and illegal children who will live in fear and division?

The answer: All this misery is the fruit of there being little political will to enforce the law.
Politicians of all colours (red, blue and orange) know, or ought to know, that their lack of will to respect Her Majesty’s laws encourages the scams that generate more illegal workers and illegal children.

Talking about “fear and division” while refusing to enforce the law is simply cover. The talk allows all colours in Ottawa to condone and torque the “banality of evil” culture that punishes one million workers and 150,000 children.

If Ottawa really wants to stop the “fear and division” lived daily by 1 million workers and 150,000 children, then the Immigration Minister should simply be instructed to:

  • Enforce Sec 25 of IRPA : Identify and approve  those who are already well established with a proven , productive commitment  to Canada

  • Enforce our laws without fear or favour

  • Do what Brian Mulroney did in May 1986  and Justin Trudeau did in November 2017 : raise immigration targets , if necessary, to secure Canadian business

It’s not difficult. We have the staff and means to get the job done.

It’s also easier and more cost effective than living with the present corrupt, tax draining   mess.

Thus, the choices are simple:

  • Reap the benefits of following the law or

  • Pay the high cost of breaking the law

Trudeau: Trump’s Child Migrant Policy Is ‘Wrong,

‘Unacceptable’

The prime minister has been pressed to condemn the U.S. practice.

CHRIS WATTIE / REUTERS
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau takes part in a news conference in Ottawa on May 31, 2018.
OTTAWA — The U.S. policy of separating child migrants from their parents and detaining them at the U.S.-Mexico border is "unacceptable," Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Wednesday.
"What's going on in the United States is wrong, " Trudeau said prior to the weekly Liberal caucus meeting.
"I can't imagine what the families who are living through this are enduring," he added, saying this "is not the way we do things in Canada."
Trudeau has been called upon to condemn the Trump administration's "zero-tolerance policy," under which asylum seekers who cross illegally into the U.S. are charged with federal crimes and separated from their children, who are detained in guarded, fenced enclosures.
On Wednesday, the Canadian Council for Refugees joined others, including NDP immigration critic Jenny Kwan, in urging the federal government to suspend the Safe Third Country Agreement. The council says the U.S. cannot be considered a safe country for refugees in light of the "disturbing" events at the U.S. border.
The government says it is monitoring the changes in U.S. immigration policy and what effects they will have on asylum seekers in the United States.
The Canada Border Services Agency does detain some immigrants to Canada who are considered a flight risk or a danger to the public, and those whose identities cannot be confirmed. Canadian policy on child migrants allows detained parents to keep their children with them in holding centres if other alternatives cannot be found.
Concerns have been raised in the past over the number of migrant children detained every year by Canadian border officials. Last year, 162 minors were detained or housed with their parents in holding centres.
That number has been going down, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale said earlier this week. Last November, he issued a directive to the Canada Border Services Agency to keep children out of detention and keep families together "as much as humanly possible."
Comment:
"Trump better than Trudeau on immigrant children

Trudeau claims what Trump is doing with kids is wrong & it's not the way we do things in Canada.....who's he kidding....

It's exactly the way we do things in Canada.

The only difference is that Trump changed polices hurting kids. He made the change without being pushed by a court order. Trump is pushing hard to "land" 1.8 million young people . Meanwhile, Justin deports kids , including kids in the December 23, 2018 Pilot Project,  in defiance of a Supreme Court of Canada order.

On December 15, 2015 in the case of Kanthasamy v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration) the Canadian Supreme Court, dictated that children cannot be removed from Canada if they are so well established in Canada that they would suffer psychological harm. The decision was based on Pierre Trudeau's Charter of Rights.

Justin is shameless in his deportation of children covered by the December 2015 decision.

Now he is shameless in holding himself out to as a defender of immigrant children.

I was never a fan of Pierre Trudeau’s policies. But I always respected the man for never lying.

The apple fell far from the tree.

* Justin allows Hussen and Fonseca to lie about the Pilot Project.

* Justin allows Hussen to  lie on the "very soon " announcement for the new undocumented worker program

* Justin assured Portuguese Prime Minister Costa that Canada is committed to new rules for undocumented workers

Now Justin says that he's better than Trump with immigrant children.

Who , or what ,does this man answer to ? "

Part 2:

Exposing national security: follow the money?

Richard Fadden & Daniel Jean & Ralph Goodale & The PMO

This is getting serious.

First, the PMO compromises our Director of National Security, Daniel Jean, by parading him in front of the media to provide an Indian conspiracy theory.

Second, the Minister of Security, Ralph Goodale, cannot discuss the PMO’s conspiracy theory because either the information or process disclosed by Jean is a matter of national security.

Third, our former head spook, Richard Fadden goes public and dismisses the PMO’s conspiracy theory.

In summary, we have something without precedent in Canada: Two solid security guys and the solid security Minister very publicly on one side and the paranoid PMO lying on the other.

The public display of security establishment knives is right up there with Julius Cesar leaving the Senate.

Thus the question: What would cause the PMO to risk its relationship with the security establishment?

Having been around the block a few times, I would not be surprised if some very senior guy in the PMO is feeling the heat that comes with either running or covering up an immigration scam. In the past, these things were resolved quietly. It must be pretty bad if senior spooks and a senior Minister are publically not amused.

Let’s hope I’m wrong. But I doubt it.

OTTAWA — Conservative MP Maxime Bernier is rejecting a meeting request from Liberal counterpart Celina Caesar-Chavannes after the pair exchanged barbs on Twitter over issues of race and identity politics.
Caesar-Chavannes apologized to Bernier on Twitter on Tuesday morning after telling him in a tweet posted three days ago to "check your privilege and be quiet" in a heated discussion about funding for minority communities in the budget and whether it is racist to say you want to be colour-blind.
"I am not too big to admit when I am wrong," she wrote. "Limiting discussion on this important issue by telling you to be quiet was not cool. If you are willing, let’s chat when back in Ottawa. We are miles apart on this important issue and it is possible to come a little closer."
Bernier did not seem open to the idea.
"Thank you for recognizing my right to air an opinion," he wrote back on Twitter. "I don't think we can find much common ground beyond that however. You and (Minister Ahmed) Hussen implied I'm a racist because I want to live in a society where everyone is treated equally and not defined by their race."
Bernier also said everything possible should be done to give everyone equal opportunity, but said defining people based on race, gender and sexual identity and granting different rights and privileges to people based on those definitions "only creates more division and injustice and will balkanize our society."
"I say it's time we Conservatives stop being afraid to defend our vision of a just society made up of free and equal individuals and push back against those who want to silence any opinion that differs from theirs," Bernier said.
Bernier is out of the country and his office says he could not be reached for an interview.
Caesar-Chavannes was unable to do an interview but provided a statement to The Canadian Press.
"I believe that it is important for Canadians to debate and express their views," she said. "Encouraging a fellow parliamentarian to keep silent is not consistent with this principle. I have acknowledged this, and my offer to meet with Mr. Bernier once we're both back in Ottawa still stands. I would welcome the opportunity to continue this important discussion with him in person."
The entire thing started after Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen tweeted Feb. 28 that the federal budget was historic for "racialized Canadians."
The budget included money for a national anti-racism plan, mental health supports for at-risk black youth and funding to collect better data on race, gender and inclusion in Canada.
On March 2, Bernier responded to say "racialized" was "awful jargon" and accused the Liberals of using it to create division.
"I thought the ultimate goal of fighting discrimination was to create a colour-blind society where everyone is treated the same," Bernier said on Twitter.
Hussen responded by saying the budget was about equality and growth for all Canadians and that the idea of not seeing colour may sound great in theory but doesn't address the realities of racism.
"At best, it allows the CPC to continue to wipe their hands of playing an active role in the work that must be done to eradicate racism (and) at worst it means you are supporting the status quo by denying the very real experiences of people who live with racism every day," he wrote.
Caesar-Chavannes chimed in after that to tell Bernier to do some research about the idea of being colour-blind and that is also when she told him to be quiet.

The Honourable Maxime Bernier
Member of Parliament
House of Commons
Ottawa, Ontario

Dear Honourable Sirs:

I thank both of you for opening the discussion on the role of identity in immigration policy.

From time to time, identity has been a significant factor in determining the issuance of permanent residence visas. During my 40 years in practice I have seen the identity pendulum swing from one extreme to the other. From an era when the system kept informal lists priorizing acceptable identities to an era when the system tried to avoid identity classification and now back to Minister Hussen calling for formal racially administered quotas as a matter of public policy.

Personally, I favour the colour blind merit based system advocated by Mr. Bernier. Nevertheless, I commend Minister Hussen for having the personal courage to advocate a position which will probably cost him dearly in York South Weston. When a man is willing to risk his career to his principles then those principles should be heard.

Having disclosed my personal position, the purpose of this letter is to invite you both to a Town Hall meeting to be held by community groups in York South Weston.

The meeting agenda issues are:

  • Which identities are on Minister Hussen’s priority list?
  • Which identities does Canada not want?
  • Which immigration standards will be changed to accommodate priorized  identities?

We look forward to contacting both of you in order to firm up an acceptable meeting date.

Yours truly,

Richard Boraks

Manipulating national security
But why?

Ambitious people with a trade or money do not come to Canada for the weather or the tax rates. They come here for the security. Some stay. Some leave. But they come for the peace, order and good government that flows from a system able to provide security.

This past week Justin Trudeau threatened the system’s ability to provide security.

I’ve never seen anything so hysterically public and dangerous from a P.M.

In a dangerous effort to protect unstated interests Trudeau exposed Canada’s security system. Trudeau walked the nation’s security director before the media. He obliged the director to publicly release the most sensitive of information. He then used the sensitive information and the security director’s name to cover up his own interests.

Trudeau sacrificed our security director. Trudeau diminished our security apparatus.Trudeau diminished Canada.

He is not behaving like an image sensitive politician looking for palatable excuses.

He is behaving like a scared man desperately trying to cover up a personal matter.
